** Continuous হলে Verb+ing

a). Present Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা বর্তমান কালের কোন কাজ করা বোঝায় তাকে present tense বলে।
present tense কে চার ভাগে ভাগ করা যায় নিচে বর্ণনা করা হল।
Ⅰ). Present Indefinite Tense: যে বাক্য দ্বারা বর্তমান কালের সাধারন কোন কাজ, অভ্যাসগত কাজ, চিরন্তন সত্য, ঐতিহাসিক সত্য, নিকট ভবিষ্যৎ ইত্যাদি বোঝায় তাকে present indefinite tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: যায়, খায়, করে, কর, ঘুমাই, পড়ে, খেলে ইত্যাদি ।
Structure: sub + verb(s/es) + obj.
Example: ⇒ Michael reads newspaper regularly. (habitual)

⇒ The moon gives us light. (universel)

Ⅱ). Present Continuous Tense:
বর্তমান কালে কোন কাজ চলছে বা ঘটছে এরূপ বুঝালে তাকে Present Continuous Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: করিতেছি, করছি, করিতেছে, করছেন ইত্যাদি।
Structure: Sub + auxiliary verb(am, is, are) + main verb + ing + obj
Example: ⇒ The birds are flying in the sky.

⇒ Nancy is dancing.

Ⅲ). Present Perfect Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা বর্তমান কালের কোন কাজ এই মাত্র শেষ হয়েছে কিন্তু ফল এখনও বিদ্যমান আছে তাকে present perfect tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: করিয়াছ, করেছ, করেছিস, করেছেন ইত্যাদি ।
Structure: sub+ have/has+ 3rd form of main verb + obj + ext.
Example: ⇒ Monju has done this work.

⇒ They have broken the glass.

Ⅳ). Present Perfect Continuous Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা বর্তমানে কোন কাজ চলমান এবং সময়ের উল্লেখ বুঝায় তাকে present perfect continious tense বলে।
বাংলার চেনার উপায়: ক্রিয়ার শেষে করিতেছি, করিতেছ, করিছি এছাড়ও নিদিষ্ট সময় (হতে/ থেকে), অনিদিষ্ট যাবৎ থাকে।
Structure: sub+have/has been+ main verb + ing+ since/for+ obj.
N.B: নিদিষ্ট হলে for এবং অনিদিষ্ট হলে since হবে।
⇒ It has been raining since morning.
⇒ They have been reading for two hours.
b). Past Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা অতীত কালের কোন কাজ করা বুঝায় তাকে past tense বলে।
past tense কে চার ভাগে ভাগ করা যায় নিচে অালচনা করা হল।
Ⅰ). Past Indefinite Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা অতী্ত কালের সাধারন কোন কাজ করা বুঝায় তাকে Past Indefinite Tense বলে।
বাংলার চেনার উপায়: করেছিল, ঘুমিয়াচিল, পরেছিল, খেলেছিল ইত্যাদি ।
Structure: sub + 2nd form of main verb + obj
Example: ⇒ He saw it.
⇒ The boys played in the field.
Ⅱ). Past Continuous Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা অতীত কালের কোন কাজ চলছিল বুঝায় তাকে Past Continuous Tense বলে।
বাংলার চেনার উপায়: করতেছিল, কাঁদছেছিল, খেলতেছিল ইত্যাদি।
Structure: sub + was/were + main verb + ing + obj
Example: ⇒ The foxes were crying in the jungle.
⇒ I was watching television.
Ⅲ). Past Perfect Tense:
অতীত কালের দুটি ঘটনার মধ্যে যেটি আগে সংগঠিত হয়েছিল সেটিকে Past Perfect Tense বলে। কিন্তু দুইটি বাক্যের মধ্যে after or before বসে।
Sub + 2nd form of main verb + obj + after + sub + had + 3rd form of main verb + obj.
⇒ The patient died after the doctor had come.
sub+ had + 3rd form of main verb +obj + before + sub + v2 + obj.
⇒ We had reached the station before the train come.
Ⅳ). Past Perfect Continuous Tense:
যে বাক্য দ্বারা অতীত কালের কোন কাজ দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে চলমান বোঝায় তাকে Past Perfect Continuous Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: ক্রিয়ার শেষে তেছিল,তেছিলাম, ইত্যাদি এবং নিদিষ্ট ও অনিদিষ্ট সময়ের উল্লেখ থাকবে।
Structure: sub+have/has been+ main verb + ing+ since/for+ obj.
Example: ⇒ Keya had been cooking for two hours.
⇒ He had been singing sons since morning.
c). Future Tense: ভবিষ্যৎ এ কোন কাজ করাকে Future Tense বলে।
Ⅰ). Future Indefinite Tense: যে বাক্য দ্বারা ভবিষ্যৎ কালের সুনিদিষ্টি ভাবে কোন কাজ করাকে বোঝায় তাকে Future Indefinite Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: ক্রিয়ার শেষে থাকিবে, করিবে, পড়িবে, ইত্যাদি।
sub + shall/ will + obj
Example: ⇒ I shall do it.
⇒ He will play now.
Ⅱ). Future Continuous Tense: যে বাক্য দ্বারা ভবিষ্যৎ কালের কোন কাজ চলতে থাকিবে বোঝায় তাকে Future Continuous Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায় বলিতেথাকিবে, করিতেথাকিবে, ঘুমাতেথাকিবে ইত্যাদি।
sub + shall be + will be + main verb + ing + obj.
Example: ⇒ They will be reading book.
⇒ I shall be catching fish in the river.
Ⅲ). Future Perfect Tense: যে বাক্য দ্বারা ভবিষ্যৎ এ কোন নিদিষ্ট সময়ের মধ্যে কোন নিদিষ্ট কাজ সম্পন্ন হয়ে থাকবে তাকে Future Perfect Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায় ক্রিয়ার শেষে করিয়া থাকিবে, থাকিবেন, থাকিব ইত্যাদি।
sub + shall/will + have + v3 + obj
Example: ⇒ Sumi will have reached the Dhaka city.
⇒ You will have heard the name of my friend.
Ⅳ). Future Perfect Continuous Tense: যে বাক্য দ্বারা ভবিষ্যতে কোন কাজ আরম্ভ হবে কিন্তু তার আগ পর্যন্ত অন্য একটি কাজ চলতে থাকবে এরূপ বুঝালে তাকে Future Perfect Continuous Tense বলে।
বাংলায় চেনার উপায়: তেথাকিব, তেথাকিবেন ইত্যাদি
Example: ⇒ They will have been reading till 4 p.m.
⇒ I shall have been doing this work until you come.
